Sworn to the Empire: Ch 2

This one was a quick one to write, and it's J'Rashi POV.
The silent Ta'agra was based on the idea of IRL cat communication, where body language and subtle sounds carry more weight than vocalizations. The yet-unnamed Alfiq might come back later. The average Chorrol citizen assumes he's just a regular housecat, which suits him, and his opinions can be as radical as he wants because nobody hears them anyway.
It's not an uncommon complaint that Oblivion took a very un-nuanced pro-Empire angle, especially with the context of the previous games, so it makes sense that a certain number of regular citizens would be unfazed or even celebratory about the assasinations. I hope to explore the impact this fact has on the relationships between the characters. This fic will hopefully be a bit more snappy, action-heavy, and serious than the HM:ANWL fic I'm working on.
